🖤 4TF MkIII – Laser-Cut Precision Meets Printable Power

The 4TF MkIII is a compact, modular mini-ITX case designed for creators who love blending laser cutting with 3D printing.  The 4TF is about retaining wide hardware compatibility while upgrading durability, cooling, and customization potential through the use of premium filaments and laser-cut panels.

A super fun use case for the Bambu HD2 + Laser, this project could be done entirely with that machine.

• GPU: Low Profile (Half-height)

   

  • Confirmed: NVIDIA A2000, Arc Pro A40/B50, 5060 LP

   

• PSU: FLEX 1U (150–300W)
• Cooling: Dual front-mounted 92x15mm fans
• Storage: 2.5” SSD support
• Other: GPU brace and rear vent structures included

🧠 Design Philosophy:

The 4TF is meant to bridge the gap between accessible DIY and premium SFF craftsmanship. While the 3DLP is an all-printed, entry-friendly design, the 4TF takes things further with support for laser-cut aluminum or acrylic side panels, making it ideal for users who want strength, heat resistance, or hybrid manufacturing workflows.

Even if you’re just printing it entirely in filament, the MkIII version now includes:

• 🧲 Tighter kerf-tuned alignment
• 🔒 Stronger GPU mounting

• 🧦 Optional printable feet

   

📦 Files Included:

• STL / 3MF for all printed parts
• DXF for laser cut panel templates
• STEP / F3D (via Patreon for remixing or CNC)

🧩 Recommended Materials:

• PETG-CF / PETG-GF – strong, printable, easy to finish
• Nylon+CF – premium feel, great for structure
• PLA+ – fine for prototyping or display builds, no warping experienced so far.
• 3mm Acrylic – for side/front panels if laser cutting
