Description
2026/06/22 Update: I have added additional parts to make this ship the Koningsdam. At a user's request I changed the name of the ship on 3 parts that are in a seperate print profile. If you want to print the Koningsdam, then in the main Rotterdam profile do NOT print the bow and stern parts on Plate 4 (Deck 1& 2). But do still print the middle of the hull piece. Do NOT print Plate 12 -Deck 9 piece. Replace those 3 pieces with the 3 that are in the other profile. I have seen in pictures there are a few differences between the Koningsdam and the Rotterdam (the aft outer stairs for example). I did not redo any of those parts, just the name in 3 locations.
2026/04/20 Update: Thank you to @user_1543484475 for pointing out that part 10b on plate labelled “Deck 10” had an alignment issue. I have uploaded corrected profiles.
2026/03/20 Update: I have added additional parts to make this ship the Nieuw Statendam. At a user's request I changed the name of the ship on 3 parts that are in a seperate print profile. If you want to print the Nieuw Statendam, then in the main Rotterdam profile do NOT print the bow and stern parts on PLate 4 (Deck 1& 2). But do still print the middle of the hull piece. Do NOT print Plate 12 -Deck 9 piece. Replace those 3 pieces with the 3 that are in the other profile.
2025/11/30 Update: I have added a print profile that has been sliced for the P1S printer. I don't know why the first print profile won't let me select the X/P series printers as compatible. Hopefully adding this second profile will list them as compatible.
After printing all of Ukdavewood's 1:500 scalse cruise ship models I wanted more. I wanted my favorite cruise ship the Holland America Line Rotterdam.
This entire model was created by me in OnShape. I did include one part from Ukdavewood's models, the stands. I already was using them on all his models and wanted a uniform look when displayed together.
This was printed using an A1 combo using 4 colors at a time. The only exception to this is deck 10 and 11. The shuffleboard courts are actually blue and the jogging track is red. If you have multiple AMS you could color them correctly. Only having 4 colors in the AMS lite they are colored black in the model.
The filaments I used:
1: Inland PLA+ white
2: Inland PLA pro brown
3: Inland PLA+ black
4: Inland PLA+ dark blue
5: Creality PLA+ orange
6: Inland PLA+ red
7: Inland PLA silk silver
8: Inland tough PLA blue
9: Inland silk PLA silk gold
The decks are labeled with the deck number and A, B and C. A is the bow, B is the mid and C is the stern.
The lower main hull pieces are decks 1 and 2 and are not labeled.
The connectors in 3A go in the lower hull slots while the connectors in 3B go in deck 3 after it is attached to the lower hull pieces.
The aft stairs get slotted on to deck 9 and 10 after they are assembled.
As far as Deck 13 goes, if you have to ask...
