Description
Thanks for checking out my ARCtron-W (Arcade Wall Cabinet Widescreen) build!
This is the next evolution in my ARCtron series — a sleek widescreen wall-mounted arcade system that brings modern hardware and flexible control options into one beautifully compact build. It’s got magnets, modular panels, and that clean retro-futuristic look you know by now.
This one gives you more freedom than ever. Swap between stick panels with the magnetic lock-in-place design — go full arcade mode for fight nights with friends, or switch to the Point-n-Click layout for strategy games or adventures. And if you’re a Patreon, you’ll get access to more layouts and future design variations to keep expanding your setup! Right now Parametric Models for the Stick Panel and Control Panel is in BETA, and available as Early Access for paying Patreon members. These lets you customize the panels to fit your needs.
I highly recommend downloading the ARCtron-W_ALL ZIP package, as it contains everything you need — 3MF and STL files, plus PDF Documentation like Parts to Source, Assembly Guide, Wiring Diagrams, and Design Options. You’ll find it under “Download STL”, and the same documentation is also listed below this description. The 3MF files are pre-arranged for Bambu X1C and P1S print beds with settings like material, supports, and brim.
I use PLA only in this build.
The ARCtron-W is designed to run on mini PCs such as the Beelink EQ R6 or SER5, with full compatibility for:
ChimeraOS (console-like Steam launcher setup)
Bazzite (Steam Deck experience + desktop mode)
Windows (maximum compatibility for emulators and launchers)
You can also go with a Raspberry Pi for Emulation of Retro Games.
You’ll find two wiring diagrams in the documentation — one for 12V DC setups and one for AC-powered configurations.
Like the ARCtron-R, this build loves details. Add decals, rub-off transfers, or water-slide logos for that true arcade finish. Sand, paint, polish — make it yours! A full list of parts (Amazon & AliExpress links) is included for easy sourcing, from joysticks and buttons to magnets, LEDs, and amplifiers.
Read through all documentation before you start printing.
It’ will save you both time and filament!
My intention is to keep all my projects alive and evolving.
