P2S X2D Hot Air Deflector Heating Mode No Warping!

I noticed that during some prints, if heating mode is enabled to filter the air inside and the AUX fan is set to 100% to properly remove the ABS odor, a lot of air is pushed toward the model from the outlet below.

This print redirects that air downward, away from the model. That hole is only used for the Air Filter/Heat function of the P2S and X2D, especially with high-temperature filaments such as ABS, ASA, and PETG.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ONLY USE ABS FOR THE X2D since it offers a heated-chamber!!

Version A) pushes most of the air down below the buildplate, it even works if the build plate is further down. And also away from the inlet of the Chamber filter (so that it doesn't get sucked in after just getting filtered).



Version B) pushes most of the air down too below the buildplate, but also to the door side.  I tried minimizing air-restriction with A) but this improves on that by allowing air to be pushed out to the side towards the closed door.



ONLY USE PETG OR BETTER ABS TO PRINT THIS MODEL! 

UPDATE:

20.04.2026 I added versions with 3MM distance to the buildplate (the original onces with 1.5mm are still there and still work). :)

Warning:
Always make sure the model sits tight on the wall! The tolerances are tight with this model. I left a 1.5 mm gap there to the build-plate (I also added a version with a 3 mm gap!) and designed it in such a way that it bends away from the build-plate when pressed from the sides! Always make sure that this gap exists to prevent collisions with the built-plate and only use PETG or ABS for model so it doesn't deform!

After installation please slowly lift/lower the bed to make sure the gap exists!
