Star Wars Unlimited Premium Card Box

This is a premium design for my line of trading card boxes. You can follow this link to find the original page, which has additional accessories listed for print. This box can hold 725 Raw Cards, 500 Single Sleeved Cards, 330 Double Sleeved Cards or 140 Toploaders.

I highly recommend staring with the 3MF print file, as I've modeled this into a bunch of tiny parts to make it easier to multicolor print. The panels are printed with 4 colors:

• 2 colors for the main design, which I chose a gunmetal grey and a glow in the dark PLA
• 2 backing colors to make the design pop, 1 layer of white and 1 layer of black.

I had noticed some issues in my other designs due to many filaments being a bit see thru with only a few layers. So I added 1 layer of white to give the colors more saturation and 1 layer of black so that the glue used to attach the panels doesn't show through the layers. 

The lid has a pause to drop in a 1mm thick acrylic panel. I did not use a standard size acrylic sheet, so you will need to cut one yourself. It's pretty easy, just use a knife to score the acrylic on both sides then snap it off. The dimension are 76mmx232.5mm, but I would cut it at least a millimeter shorter to make it fit better. The plastic will hold it in place. I built in a pause for the lid, so I would recommend starting the lid and cancelling the print at the pause to have a template to confirm your acrylic is the right size. 

Once everything is printed, I just attached the side panels with a bit of super glue. It's quick and has a strong hold.
