Star Wars Bad Batch: Sign for Revised Marauder

This sign is for the Star Wars Bad Batch ship The Marauder.  I have uploaded a new profile “Marauder in Color” to the designer who listed it, “Harry’s”.  I totally reworked the design so that it would be printable with minimal supports and in color with no AMS. So after all that work, I thought it needed a “proper” sign as well for the stand the Marauder sits on.

This sign is a very easy to print and if you do not have an AMS you can just add pauses where the color changes occur and should be able to print it just fine.

Because of all the changes I had to make for the Marauder profile, I have listed below some assembly details.  You will need some glue for the parts.

Marauder assembly:

Start first by assembling the upper wing assembly.  The solar panels press into the wing. Do this for each side. ** The solar panels have been scaled in the slicer for each wing so they fit properly.

Now glue both sides together and let it dry.

Glue the main body upper assembly pieces together.

Once dry, glue the top wing to the main body you just glued together.

Each of the lower wings and solar panels gets assembled in the same way as the upper wing you just did. Insert each solar panel and glue.

Lower body assembly:

The wing restraints must be glued into place. They need to be flush with the top of the part.  They will allow each wing to articulate to the 45 degree flight angle.

The lower wings get installed next. Move them into position so that you can slide the pivot rod into place. Only place glue at the larger diameter end of the rod:

Glue the center bottom “A” piece on last.

Glue the top assembly to the lower.

Flip the ship over and glue the rear landing struts on.  Assembly done!
