Seen a few models online already with something similar, but I've been using my design for a while now with great success. This quick-reload can koozie allows for you to easily move on from an empty can and crack open a cold one. I've designed Chuggo such that the koozie itself is double-insulated to keep those cans cold. Check out some of the extra features below:
- Chuggo prints in one piece with no assembly or post-processing required
- Dual-height knobs beneath the can to ensure that no can falls behind
- Knobs near the top of the koozie to keep cans from slipping out the top if unopened and tipped over
- Double insulation throughout the midsection of the koozie to keep cans cooler, prevent sweating, and keep your hands from getting cold
- Lip at the top to provide a more secure surface to grip onto
- Ribs in the interior to keep cans straight when reloading and keep Chuggo strong
This is the perfect way to enjoy sporting events, tailgates, backyard parties, and more! Removing a can and getting the next one has never been easier!
This model has been updated from its original version to make Chuggo easier to use and even more user-friendly. Relevant updates are detailed below:
- Inner diameter increased slightly
- Knobs widened and extended slightly further
- Overall height slightly decreased
- Slicing settings stayed the same as previous model, majority of geometry except detailed above is same
Check out all the versions in the Chuggo Collection! Any size can you're looking for, I've probably got it!
- Standard 12oz
- Slim 12oz
- Coors Light / Banquet
- Pints
- Tallboys
Notes:
- Chuggo is designed to be inserted over a can when the can is on a table or hard surface. While very possible and pretty easy to reload without doing so, optimal reloads should use a hard surface as shown. I've included a slow-motion video from the original model at the end to show Chuggo in action.
- Model does not need any supports, brims, or special print orientations. Print Chuggo upright for the best results.
- Recommended to be printed in both PLA and PETG. I have noticed that cans have felt better insulated when printed in PLA, but both work great.
- This is my own design with extra features to make sure that the best can-reloading experience could be achieved. While other designs may be similar, this design is solely mine and was modeled from scratch.
