(Woops, Designer for the Genmitsu 4040 Pro Max)
The first version of this dust shoe was bulky, bad air flow, the brush was non removable and changing bits was a pain. All of those issues have now been solved with this new version.
The New Dust Shoe Features:
Material List:
The magnet holes are 5.1mm in diameter and a 2.25mm in depth, when assembling, no glue is required, just a sturdy surface like the flat side of some scissors and some force to push in the magnets into the holes. When pressing the magnets into the “main” model part, i recommend having the bottom surface of the “main” model which is under the magnet you are installing rested against a flat surface (like an edge of a table, so it wont break from the pushing force.
The model requires no support when printing due to the pointy top of the horizontal holes. The big holes on the “main” model are to have heat inserts in order to attach the tighteners for the router and vacuum hose. The “brush” model has 2 heat insets in the middle are that are there in case you want to screw it to the “main” piece for guarantied attachment which you can do using a thin screw driver.
