Description
09/05/2026 update : this model is now rated “X2D compatible” !
Small (5g), easy (no support) and quick (25min print time depending material) model to divert the hot air from the P2S Airflow system.
While in Heating Mode, the hot air is pushed back to the chamber through the unique and centered vent. As a result, there is a big air flow coming right into your model as soon as the bed plate is down to 95mm and lower.
This increase the risk of warping and bed adhesion and it can also deform thin and/or tall parts (ask me how I know…)
I have made this deflector which prevent the air go horizontally, the air flow is directed to the side and the bottom of the printer.
This configuration should theoretically improve the heating of the lower part of the printer, where cold air is stacked.
The part is clipped in place, and leave approx. 3mm of gap with the build plate.
There is a small notch on both the upper and lower surfaces to ease removal just in case.
Print it with material compatible with the hot temperatures of your printer : at least PETG, ABS or ASA
11/01/2026 update : a new print profile has been proposed with a new printing orientation. It should help those who suffered from failure of the 2 clips.
