1/64 - Pole barn - Working Garage Doors!

 

      Spent 4-5 days on this one and believe me… sooooo many reprints! i wanted these garage doors to be working/moving! I did it!  At one point i did add on a small handle to be able to move them easier, but for realism i took it off.

 

• I have plans to build out a motor and switch that i can add to auto open these garage doors. modeling takes so much time! let me know if this is something you would like to see!

   

• TIP! Once you have printed the garage doors, fold them and bend them 8-10 times, the more you loosen it up the easier it slides up and down inside the track!

Garage Door Track

The tracks and garage doors can be added at any time, glue the middle pieces together with the track facing out like image below. the garage door itself can be taken out of the top of the track at any time.

Tips:

1. Put the swinging door in the holes before gluing the building to the concrete foundation! i did this after and had to melt the holes in… 

    

2.  Have fun! - and remember to put pics of how you used the building! looking forward to makers making!
