Description
***** Before assembly check the added drawing. The grip / sword handle look square but is actually rectangular. It only slides on one way. Use a smooth PEI plate for the sword because of the tight tolerances during assembly. If you use a textured PEI plate, the fit will be very tight. *****

Â
This is a pile of rocks with a sword in it. The sword has two different Viking runes engraved on the pommel.
Â
The pile of rocks was created using the Makerlab image-to-3D generator, and I designed the sword inÂ
Autodesk Inventor.
Â
I designed it so that when you assemble it, the guard and grip will slide easily onto the sword blade, but theÂ
pommel is press-fitted with locking tabs. I added a cutout in the sword blade where the locking tabs are, toÂ
make the press fit easier. It’s not shown in the pictures but you can see it in the Bambu Lab Studio file instead.
Â
The filament I used is Generic PLA and Silk PLA+:
Created on a Bambu Lab A1,
printed with a 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzle.
Build plate: Smooth PEI Plate for all sword parts (for a nicer finish and easy fit),
and Textured PEI Plate for the pile of rocks.
