Description
This 3D-printed shelf bracket was designed using topology optimization - the same process used in aerospace and F1 to remove material everywhere except where force actually travels.
That means:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Walls | 4 walls |
| Infill | 20–30% Gyroid or Cubic |
| Layer height | 0.2mm (0.16mm for smoother finish) |
| Screws | 4.5 mm standard wood screws into wall plugs (there is some leeway) |
Q: How much weight can it hold?
A: Printed in PLA+ with 4 walls and 25% infill, mine supports a solid wood shelf + objects (10kg). Doesn't seem close to its limit.
Q: Can I scale it?
A: Yes, although this will affect screw fit.
