Woodworking Drill Depth Stops for Four Drill Bit Sizes

 

I designed four depth stop collars compatible with different drill bit diameters. Here are the key points:

1. Compatible with 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm drill bits.
2. Designed to work with M3×12 bolts and nuts, allowing secure tightening and precise depth control.
3. Two versions are available:
   • Plate One for the more common H = 5.4–5.5mm M3 hex nuts;
   • Another designed for H = 6mm M3 nuts sold in Maker Supply.
4. Each size comes in two styles:
   • A standard version;
   • And a widened version with an increased contact area to better withstand higher pressure.

我制作了4中钻头大小适用的木工钻孔深度限位器，以下是几个要点：

1.适用于4mm,6mm,8mm,10mm四种直径的钻头；

2.配合M3*12螺栓及螺母使用，能够很好地锁紧钻头，实现钻孔深度的控制；

3.我制作了两个版本，一个是更为通用的H=5.4-5.5mm的M3六角螺母，另一个是使用Maker‘s Supply中销售的H=6mm的M3螺母；

4.每个尺寸的限位器有两种样式，一个是普通型，另一个加宽了与木材的接触面，以承受更大的压力。
