- No more inserting pauses to insert magnets → it uses a pressure-fit lid
- No more figuring out which glue to use → magnets are pressure-fitted
- No more wasting magnets on failed prints → just lift the lid with a knife and recover them
- No more gambling on the polarity of the magnets → if you get it wrong, you can redo it over and over
This is the first iteration of Slydr, a magnetic slider fidget toy. I expect to keep improving the design, have multiple versions for more powerful magnets and giving it different cool looks. If you have suggestions leave me a message in the comments!

- Instructions:
Print 2x bases and 2x lids in your favourite colours (AMS or insert pause for single colour printers) - Insert the magnets with the same polarity (let's say North) facing outwards (up) on the first base
- Insert the lid. It should fit perfectly with a nice clicky sound
- Spread some magnets on top of the first finished Slydr to get the polarity correct
- Insert those magnets (now South polarity facing up) on the second Slydr base (the face of the magnet that was stuck to the first slydr should face upwards when fitting them)
- Insert the lid and click it in place
- Play with your new Slydr!
It is ugly to beg, but if you enjoyed this project, please consider boosting me or sending me a message. The more encouragement I get, the more new models (different sizes, shapes, magnets) I will release.
