THIS FLASHLIGHT IS GONNA COST YOU MORE MONEY AND TIME THAN JUST BUYING ONE ON AMAZON!

However, this flashlight can be fully built by you and that's worth more to me.

Buy a $5 flashlight off amazon that will only last a year or spend $40 getting parts to make enough flashlights to last the rest of your life - the choice is yours.

This flashlight is a solid small flashlight that is brighter than your phone flashlight.

It uses an external charging board that hooks up via an xt30.

The XT30 can also be used as a breakout for 3.6v output on any small electronics.

I will attach a BOM and pictures outlining the build process but it is pretty straight forward.

Just solder the LED with the push switch in line then connect it to an xt30 connector then hook all that up to the 18650.

I had to hot glue everything in place. I may revisit this project and improve it so parts snap into place - however my CAD skills are not that great yet. If you have any ideas for improvements I am all ears.

I did add a snap fit connector for the LED but I would recommend printing out of PETG because the back of LED is a heatsink and will run pretty hot.

This flashlight costs roughly $2-3 dollars if you are like me and have 18650s laying around and decide to buy enough parts to make about 10 of them.

This is not meant for everybody to use but rather just a simple hobby project I made to test my CAD and PCB designing so I don't have well documented guides on assembly.

I'm more than happy to help anybody that wants to actually wants to assemble this, however just please note that this is a hobby project not meant as a community project with easy assembly.

If there is any interest I can possible build some more and make an assembly document. Until then it is what it is and please reach out if you have any questions
