Lunatic Fringe Twister

It twists your fringe.

I have a loved one (the lunatic) that loves to crochet. She recently tasked (commanded) me to design a fringe twister for a crochet project being worked on. I present to you the Lunatic Fringe Twister v1.0.

Although v99 will be micro-processor controlled with predictive AI algorithms, thrust bearings, a fully 3D printed electric motor with differentially geared transmission, and an accompanying smart-phone app, the current version is simply turned manually by a knob.

Assembly is required. I have posted a diagram of the order of the various cams and pegs. Mine snapped together; however, you can place a drop of glue at each point if you so desire.

The device can be run handheld or clamped to a table. I suggest using SQUINN's superbly designed “Strong Printable Clamp.” The medium sized clamp paired nicely and only one is needed to hold the fringe twister firmly affixed to a table.
