3.5 inch- Door knob wall protector plate

I checked Amazon and most wall plates cost way more than they should and they lack a recess for adhesive backing. That wasn’t going to work for me, so I modeled my own with two variants: one with a rounded edge and one with a chamfered edge.

 

Both versions are 3.5 inches wide, which matches a common size you’ll see at hardware stores and online. This size is just the right size to protect the wall preventing holes, or to cover a small hole.

 

I printed these in PLA and haven’t had a single issue. PETG should work just as well if you prefer something a bit tougher.
