This is a modular vinyl roll storage solution. The project uses hexagon parts, with holes for vinyl rolls, that fit together like a puzzle and attaches with the small “keys” to securely fasten. You can build the solution to fit any space or shape, color code the hexagon parts to easily identify different vinyl types, and the design can be easily expanded as your vinyl collection grows.

Minimal and Easily Removable Supports: one on each of the hole openings and on 4 of the key inserts
Disclaimers/Tips:
Make sure the filament is dry before printing to ensure there is no expansion during printing as it will make the parts fitting together difficult
Try to avoid brittle filaments, such as some matte and silk filaments, as they can snap on the layer lines when inserting the keys
Print one key to test the fit on the hexagon parts to see if you need to adjust the size of the key down to 99% or more
Use small snips or needle nose pliers to remove the 4 small key insert supports
Use a hard, flat surface to help press the keys into the key inserts with gentle force
