Cricothyrotomy Trainer

This is a cricothyrotomy trainer that I am continuing to work on. The current design uses 2mm thick fake skin, purchased from Aliexpress (fake tattoo skin) which slides into the two cuts on either side. The model has several holes for heat inserts, to allow rubberbands to connect the trachea to the neck. 

I recommend a silk tape to create the cricothyroid membrane, which is replaced after each use. 

A BVM or balloon can be attached to the base (I am still modeling this). Glycerine and red food dye can be added to the BVM to create sputum. 

Agar can be used to create muscle within the neck. I am working on a printed solution.
