Magnetic Small Pillbox

I needed a small, durable pillbox that could hold enough pills without accidentally opening or wearing out over time. 

So, I designed this satisfying magnetic pillbox.

Specifications:

• Magnet size: 5×3 mm
• Compartment size: 52×30 mm
• Outer dimensions: 63.5×36.3 mm

Printing details:

• Printed at 0.1 mm layer height with a 0.2 mm nozzle.
• The design also works with a 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.2 mm layer height, though note that the inner box won’t have a backwall for the magnet in this case / it still holds tight and you  can glue it to the sides of the hole.

Assembly notes:

• The magnets are press-fit into place (tight fit). For a permanent hold, you can add a tiny amount of glue on the side or bottom.
• To assemble:
  1. Press / glue the magnet into the inner box.
  2. Attach the second Magnet to the outer shell of the box.
  3. Apply a little glue at the bottom of the magnet, close the box, and let it set.

This design is compact, reliable, and satisfying to use — a perfect solution for safely storing your pills.
