Description
This 3D model presents a chain guide designed for MTB (mountain bikes).
Its main purpose is to reduce chain slap and movement during intense downhill rides, resulting in a more stable and quieter drivetrain.
Thanks to its optimized geometry, the guide effectively minimizes noise and vibration without interfering with gear shifting or derailleur operation.
To properly install the chain guide, you will need four zip ties.
Installation is quick and does not require any special tools.
The design is universal, allowing it to fit a wide range of MTB frames.
Before final mounting, trim the guide to the correct height so that the chain does not touch the frame on either the smallest or largest gear.
The model is designed to work best with flexible filaments.
The recommended material is TPU, which provides excellent flexibility, impact resistance, and durability in harsh riding conditions.
In this case, the part was printed using SUNLU TPU with a hardness of 95A, offering an ideal balance between stiffness and elasticity.
Simple and secure installation with zip ties.
