Drill Hole Stamp Guide

This is a handy little drill guide. Just slot it into whatever you want to mount, unscrew the cap, and press it against the wall and it will stamp a crosshair in the perfect position.

Works great for a shelf with two or more screws to ensure the perfect spacing.

 

There are a couple things you need but they are all extremely cheap:

• Trodat Printy 4612 refill pad

• M4 heat insert

• M4 screw, length is not super important, but a 10mm works well

 

Then all you need to do is press in the ink pad to the lid, insert the heat insert with a soldering iron, and then put in the screw.

I recommend printing without supports. The threads in the print may come out quite messy and stiff at first, but just screw them in and out a few times and they'll loosen up. You can print with supports if you prefer but these can be difficult to remove.
