Description
No more rubbing, the PTFE tube no longer drags across the glass or scrapes the upper right edge of the housing.
Designed as part of my ongoing collection of practical Bambu Lab upgrades. Each model is conceived, printed, and endurance-tested on my own machines, refined through dozens of iterations to match the printer’s true mechanical behavior. Precision isn't assumed here, it’s verified layer by layer.

These love beads slide right onto the PTFE tube, acting as spacers. For removing the tube from the toolhead, use my PTFE Untube Tool (#23), it makes installation so much easier.
Four beads are enough, though you might want to go with five if you’re feeling fancy.
I printed mine in ASA for temperature resistance, durability, and flexibility.
Current insider tip: Bambu Engineering Plate + 3DLac Stick, the secret weapon for ASA.
And remember: PTFE tubes are wear parts. Good guidance means they last longer, but they won’t last forever.
If the beads fit too tight or too loose, you can easily adjust the model in MakerWorld’s Model Maker with just a few clicks.
