Harbor freight free give away mini flashlight cannon
I actually made this out of wood back in 2010 turning the cannon on my wood lathe. It looks so great that I created the PLA printed version. The cannon is about 9” long on a 5” long carriage with rolling wheels that are kept on the axels with pins.
The cannon makes a nice desk top decor that also serves as a flashlight.
Note Not all of these flashlights are the same out of 10 I have, there are 4 different sizes 25.85mm up to 25.94mm work well. You will have to work the larger sizes in hole. Small ones might need glue or be shimmed. What holds the cannon together is the flashlight itself.

To assemble you put the plunger button in the butt end first then the cap end of the flashlight with the switch goes into the butt end of the cannon and stays there. Having the flashlight full assembled helps you get a good grip to work it into the butt end. The other end of the flashlight should slip easier in to the barrel of the cannon holding it all together. If it is tight on the switch end no glue is needed. If you have a smaller size, it could be glued but do it carefully enough that you don’t get glue in the threads of the flashlight or squeezes out on the push button plunger. You could also shim it with some paper to hold the butt tight. I would do that before using glue.
Besides that these flashlights are not that great and might need replacing occasionally. 😊
