This model can be used as a toy or display piece for fans of the game , if assembled correctly it should be quite robust and the wheels should spin smoothly
I have not made detailed intructions, but i do have a few tips to ensure a good result:
- When printing the main body in PLA, consider turning your aux fan (if you have one) or even all fans off for at least the first 3-5 layers, this will prevent warping making the seam between the body pieces nearly invisible (these settings must be changed in your filament profile under the “cooling” tab and are not included with the print profile).
- A smooth PEI plate is recommended for the main body to reduce seam visibility.
- The alignment pins (filename “sunburstwagon_pin”) are optional and meant to help with the alignment of the 2 body pieces, you can try both with and without the pins before you glue the parts together to see if they have any effect.
- I do not recommend using (permanent) glue for the mirrors, they are somewhat fragile and are meant to be replaceable.
- The rear foglight (filename “sunburstwagon_foglight_rear”) can alternatively be printed in white to resemble another reverselight, effectively changing the model from EU to US market as seen in-game.
- If you aren't satisfied with how the headlights and blinkers fit together, there are alternative headlight pieces included that have no cutouts for blinkers (filename “sunburstwagon_headlight_left_SIMPLIFIED” and “sunburstwagon_headlight_right_SIMPLIFIED”).
- On some of the in-game configurations, the front foglights are absent, there are alternative parts included for if you prefer the way that looks (filename “sunburstwagon_foglighthousing_right_SIMPLIFIED” and “sunburstwagon_foglighthousing_left_SIMPLIFIED”)
