Snow Rover 1 is a compact and versatile machine built to excel in the 2025–2026 FTC season game, DECODE! Designed with reliability and consistency in mind, Snow Rover 1’s design will enable our team to consistently score in every phase of the match!
Chassis & Frame🔩: Snow Rover 1 uses a 4-wheel mecanum drive for full omnidirectional movement, allowing smooth transitions between the launching zones and the scoring elements. The unique aluminum and 3D printed frame ensures stability without compromising on performance during the rigors of the match!
Transfer & Shooter🟢: Snow Rover 1 is equipped 4, allowing for lightning-fast cycle times and enhanced control of scoring elements during the match! Snow Rover 1 maximizes efficiency by utilizing dual rails that guide the artifact through the storage system and onto the shooter, ensuring optimal performance and enhanced functionality.
Control & Sensors📷: Snow Rover 1 will integrate distance sensors, color sensors, and several webcams which will automatically detect field targets and align with scoring elements.
CAD & Control💻: Snow Rover 1 has been completely synthesized in fusion 360 allowing us to unlock the precision that is needed for fabricating specific parts and understanding the motion and movement of the robot.
Innovation & Reliability💡: Key design features of Snow Rover 1 include modular subsystems for easy maintenance, 3D-printed brackets for quick customization, and in the future an onboard LED feedback system that communicates robot status to the drive team.
