Overview
This is a "stealth" LED cover designed for Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses. It uses an umbrella-like structure to block the recording LED from the front view while allowing ambient light to reach the sensor through side vents.

📂 Choose Your Version
Please choose the version that fits your printer capability and preference:
🏆 V2: The "Premium" Snap-fit Version (Best Experience)
- Concept: Uses a precision friction ring to snap directly onto the LED frame. No glue or tape required.
- Pros: Cleanest installation, reusable, no residue.
- Requirements: ⚠️ Requires a 0.2mm Nozzle. Your printer must be well-calibrated as the tolerances are very tight.
- Recommendation: Choose this if you have a 0.2mm nozzle and want the perfect, integrated look.
🛠️ V4: The "Universal" Tape / Glue Version (Zero Leakage)
- Concept: A flat-bottom design fixed with adhesive. Optimized for standard printers.
- Upgrade (vs V3): Thickened front shield to completely eliminate light leakage. The LED is now 100% invisible from the front.
- Requirements: Standard 0.4mm Nozzle.
- Mounting Options:
- Standard: Use a small piece of 3M double-sided tape (or Nano tape).
- 💡 Community Pro Tip: User @BTL_tech highly recommends using B-7000 glue instead of tape. It provides a secure, transparent bond and is much easier to clean off than tape residue if you remove it later.
- Recommendation: Choose this if you use a standard 0.4mm nozzle. It is easy to print and offers perfect light blocking.
⌛ Legacy Versions (V1 & V3)
- V3: Older tape version (thinner wall). Replaced by V4.
- V1: Older single-vent version. Replaced by V2.
💡 Installation & Pro Tips
- Orientation: Install with the main cutout/vent facing UPWARD to capture the most overhead light.
- Performance Boost: I strongly recommend painting the inside of the cover with silver/white reflective paint (or using a tiny piece of aluminum foil). This reflects more light into the sensor and significantly reduces errors.
- For V4 Installation: If using tape, apply it to the bottom ring first, trim the edges, then attach to the glasses. If using B-7000 glue, apply a small amount, let it set slightly, and press firmly.
⚠️ Limitations
While the multi-vent design greatly improves stability, the camera may still fail to start in High Contrast Scenes (e.g., sitting in a dark room shooting a bright window). This is a physical limitation of the light sensor.

📅 Update Log
2025-12-03
- Released V4 (Crucial Update): Based on the V3 0.4mm design, I thickened the front shield. This solves the light leakage issue found in V3, ensuring the LED is completely blocked even in dark environments.
2025-12-02
- Added V3 (0.4mm Friendly): Redesigned with a flat base for mounting with 3M tape. Compatible with standard 0.4mm nozzles.
2025-11-18
- Updated V2 (Triple Vents): Improved the Snap-fit version by adding openings on three sides to reduce sensor errors.
