Cute laying down mallard duck / magnet / no AMS

Inspired by a plushie of a mallard duck laying down I came up with this cute little fella! 🦆

You print this design in multiple parts so there is no AMS needed. Alternatively you can also make it a magnet with the alternative body that comes with a magnet insert.

📂 The files include:

• Folder with STLs grouped by color
• Folder with each individual part 

→ each with and without the magnet slot

 

🎨 Colors: 

• 🤎 Brown (wings&rump)
• 💛 Yellow (beak&feet)
• 🤍 White (body&ring)
• 💚 Green (head)
• 🖤  Black (eyes)

🛠 Print info:

• Only minimal supports needed for one piece (rump)
• Default size of 82mm is recommended as minimum
• No AMS needed (printed in multiple parts)

🔧 Assembly info:

You will need super glue and (for the magnet option) a magnetic sticker from the Bambu store.

Clean up the pieces if needed and test fit the parts before gluing.

The eyes are rather tiny so I recommend using tweezers and a toothpick with a small amount of super glue.

Gently hold the pieces in place for a few seconds while the glue sets for the best results. 😊 

 

For the magnet version:

Add the 20mm Bambu magnet sticker to the fitted hole on the bottom of the body.
