Description

A way to connect furniture panels without visible screws. This connector snaps plywood, mdf or melamine panels together tightly.

It includes a marking jig for positioning both the puck and the snapper at the right distance from the edge of the material.

The puck (round part) and the snapper are designed to be used with 4x16 screws. The marking jig requires longer screws, I used 4x20 but longer is also possible.

First, drive two screws through the jig so that the points protrude just a tiny bit. This marks the panel where the snapper goes.

Then, mark on the edge of the material where you want the connector.

Position the jig at the desired location and put a puck in the jig. Screw down the puck and the jig now stays attached to the puck.

Lastly, hold the panel you want to attach in front of the other panel and press against the jig to mark two screw locations.

Attach the snapper with two screws.

Now simply push the panel in and it snaps shut!
