Heltec V4 Enclosure Plate

This is a simple plate made for the Heltec V4 to fit inside of a 5.9x3.9x2.8" enclosure. This is based off of of the model Hamspiced has on Thinigiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6504138) Check out his other models here: https://www.thingiverse.com/Hamspiced/designs

 

Supports are optional. If your part cooling isn't great, you may want to use them. I printed in ABS with no supports and it came out just fine.

The Heltec is a snug fit, and the battery must go in cable side down, with the pigtail to the left (cutout for it, see assembled pics) ALWAYS check battery polarity before plugging it in!! If you need to repin, it's easier than replacing a fried board!!

I used two m2x4 screws to hold the battery holder in place. You could use longer if that's what you have.

I used the two printed washers inside and outside of the case on the antenna connector. You may need to loose the lockwasher and star washer to get good contact with your antenna. I smothered these washers with a sealant to prevent water from seeping in.

 

The gap on the left is intentional for any extra cable routing you may want.
