Christmas tree topper

I created this Christmas tree topper with a design in line with the Christmas bauble I created in another project. Decorate your tree with the beautiful spiral shaped baubles and finish off it with this topper!

 

The topper has a height of 240 mm and can be printed as a single piece with no support. The central shaft of the topper is slightly twisted to give it a more elegant look. The 2 spheres are 60 and 40 mm in diameter. I added a brim for a bit more stability. 

 

For the A1 mini, I created a print profile where the topper is split in 2 parts. Both parts can be printed on a single plate without support (I did add brims). The top part fits into the bottom part nicely. The fit is tight, so no glue is needed. As it can be taken apart, it makes storing a bit easier as well. 

 

NOTE: As I have an A1 mini, I have only have printed the split version. That prints really well, so I am confident it will also print as 1 piece. Please let me know in the comments if you have tried this and how it turned out so I can add that info to this description!
