I've added a print profile with slightly shorter arms, which will fit on an A1mini bed.

Have added an update 3MF that has more accurate version of the mini flatbed jig (v5), and also includes a version that sets the stop at (10,10) instead, in case you need to be (over-)print slightly to the bottom right of the positioned object.

 

Also added a zip containing SVG files that you can use to test the alignment. I recommend that the calibration card is laser cut on thick board (or thin ply/acrylic etc) to get the best dimensional accuracy and a hard edge to but up against the jig. Then print the other one on the E1, in CMYK (2 layers), making sure it is sized to 265x85mm, and has the bottom right corner at (0,0) in eufyMake Studio. 

 

Print onto the calibration card, positioned with the jig, to check the alignment of what your E1 prints compared to the calibration card. By checking the alignment of the lines, you can see how far the origin is off for your machine.  If the lines marked with a zero line up exactly, then the distance is spot on. If  the lines that best match are to to one side, then you need to move your print by that many tenths of a mm in that direction before printing, for it to line up correctly.  For instance if the lines that best align are the third line to the left of the zero mark, then the alignment is off by 0.3mm. So when using the jig to position prints on your bed, instead of aligning things to (0,0), set the corner to (0.3,0). That will move your print slightly to the left, positioning things where the jig expects them to be. For the vertical scale, if the lines match on the second line above the zero mark, you'll need to set the y coordinate to (0,0.2) to move the print up. If the matching lines are below or to the right of the zero mark, then use negative offsets to compensate. 

 

I have no idea what the variation is between machines. But I wouldn't worry too much if your positioning is off by a few tenths of a mm.

Based on a scan of the mini printbed, and careful measurements, these guides provide a an accurate (0,0) point and perpendicular arms for aligning positioning jigs on the eufyMake E1 UV printer. This gives positioning based on the default ‘snapshot’ view of the bed, and so is not dependent on the precise orientation and alignment of the  of sticky mat, and avoids the need to position items by eye, when setting up repeated prints. 

 

The positioning seems to be repeatable for me pretty well across multiple rounds of installing and removing the print bed - I'm not sure how much variation there is between machines. I am considering adding other variations that give different positions - for instance when directly positioning a substrate piece on the bed, you probably don't want it at exactly (0,0) so there is some room for a little bleed off to the bottom right. But when extra space is added by a jig that is referenced off these pieces, that is not an issue.

 

Once you have positioned your object on the E1's bed, remove this jig before starting the print.
