Description

This desiccant holder is designed for the Bambu Lab filament system. While many similar designs exist, this version allows for custimisable opening patterns through the grid infill generator.

Design

The triangular pattern on the body was produced using Bambu Lab’s modifier tools, allowing the sparse infill to form the openings. You can switch to any other grid or infill pattern to change the visual style or airflow. To change the pattern, simply select the modifier under objects, and change the sparse infill pattern type. You can modify the density and pattern as you see fit, and splice the plate to try different patterns.

Printing

The holder uses about 30 grams of filament and is printed by object. You can adjust the sparse infill settings to alter the size of the openings to suit your preferred moisture exchange rate. To print multiple containers at a time, change the print by object settings under the “Others→ Special mode→ Print Sequence→ by Layer”
