This is no ordinary Advent calendar — it’s a real maker’s Christmas project!
A fully printable Christmas tree decorated with 24 numbered filament spools — each representing one day of Advent.

You can print the spools in 12 different colors for a bright festive look, or keep it simple with a few tones. The AMS is only required for the numbered spools and the Christmas star; the rest of the model is single-color.

 

Each spool can hold a small surprise — such as:

• 🎁 Gift codes or vouchers
• 💌 Little paper notes or messages
• 🔩 Tiny objects or trinkets
•  

After the holidays, reuse the spools as mini filament samples, cable holders, or organizers — every spool features a threaded core so they can be screwed together.

 

⚙️ Printing Details

 

• The tree has a Fuzzy Skin texture for a realistic surface.
• Mounting pins for the spools are excluded from the fuzzy modifier — don’t move the yellow modifier dots, otherwise the fit will be off.
• The star on top is a separate part — print it multi-color for extra shine, or keep it classic.
• All 24 spools are placed on a single-color plate for estimating total filament usage.
