Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

This model needs supports and to make sure the orientation is good for the pine needles. It's meant to be glued or 3D-penned in place and may be a bit rough. I do these designs just for fun and learning purposes.

Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree is in 4 separate parts. The tree prints on it's side with supports to give it a little bit more of a 3D depth on some of the branches. I printed my tree and stand and blanket at 150% and it fits on most buildplates. Linus' blanket also prints with supports. I've uploaded photos with and without the blanket, completely up to you if you want to make it.

For the pine needles I used the idea that the rocktopus and gnomes and trolls use with the hair you dip in water or use a heat gun with. Ended up just snipping off the ends and using the strands (dipped them in hot water and 3D penned them into place). Do not use supports for this but the orientation (SIDEWAYS) is important to get that stringing-like effect).

I used an ornament I had with an ornament hanger, but I'm sure other stuff could be easily designed or added.
