Description
This mount holds the Anycubic Kobra S1 cutter blade securely at the correct height and also includes retaining guides so that it won't come loose or fall out.
This my (improved) version of the Kobra S1 filament cutter mount, similar in function to the Poop Chute Cutter Anycubic Kobra S1 by “YOYO”. This version isn't quite as polished and may show some minor seams, but it fits and works perfectly, and you're free to modify/remix it as you wish, excluding commercial use.
NOTE: This isn't a remix, this is a 100% from-scratch version that is free to use and modify with no restrictions.
This took a lot of measurements and more than a few test prints to get it right, but the finished print should fit snugly and securely. 🙂 This also prints well on both FDM and resin printers.
| UPDATE: By request, I've also provided a version that has a thinner front wall to provide more clearance for buildplates that might have a smaller gap between the plate and the front edge of the waste chute. Try this version if the clearance on your printer seems too close. |
No special settings are needed and no supports are required. On my Kobra S1 it takes about 15 minutes to print. Due to distortion in my low-end camera, some of the images make the model appear “bowed” but the model is actually flat.
Assembly and Usage
If you have suggestions for improvement or remix this, please let me know. If you remix this, I'd love to see what you did with it. Again, this model is free to use, reuse, remix, modify, distribute, etc. The only restriction is that no commercial usage is allowed.
