Description

Experience optimized relief with this custom-designed foot and muscle roller. Leveraging the best properties of TPU and PLA, this tool delivers a firm core for stability and a textured, flexible outer layer for effective deep-tissue massage.

 

This is a two-part print designed for durability and comfort. The rigid internal core ensures it maintains its shape under pressure, while the TPU outer sleeve provides the necessary grip and comfortable pressure points for myofascial release.

 

AMS is NOT required, nor recommended for this model.

Key Features:

  • Dual-Material Performance: Combines a rigid PLA core with a flexible TPU exterior, creating a perfect balance of firmness and surface compliance for effective massage.
  • Effective Texture: The geometric outer pattern (printed in TPU) is designed to target muscle knots and improve circulation in the feet, calves, or forearms.
  • Seamless Assembly: The two components are designed for a tight, smooth friction fit—simply push the PLA core into the TPU outer shell, and you're ready to roll!
  • Customizable Colors: Easily select different colors for the core (PLA) and the shell (TPU) to create a personalized recovery tool.

Roller is utilizing features from my other massage model, check it out! 

 

Print Settings:

PLA

  • Walls: 2 - 3
  • Infill: at least 25% (gyroid)
  • Layer Height: 0.20 - 0.28 mm (I have used 0.24mm)
  • Print Time: around 30min

TPU

  • Walls: 2
  • Infil: 5% to 25% - depends on your firmnes preferences (use gyroid or honeycomb)
  • Layer Height: 0.20mm
  • Print Time: around 2h and 30min (TPU should be printed slowly - check your speeds!)
