Description
ou’re tired of using individual markers for the scanner, so create a reusable mesh with markers that you can place on any surface, scan the object, and then reuse the mesh elsewhere. This also makes it easy and fast to get rid of artifacts later in the scan-processing software.
What you will need:
he mesh you create can be any size you want. The best option is an 8 cm x 8 cm grid, because the scanner will continuously see four markers, whether you’re scanning with infrared or a laser (Raptor). Scanning has never been easier.
You can use the mesh to scan an entire car, even if the body is made of aluminum (the magnet won’t stick), because the mesh will still stay on the vehicle. You can additionally sew lead tape around the edges to help stretch it over different surfaces and add loops or suction cups in the corners to secure it.
With the marker mesh, scanning has never been so easy. The infrared scanner doesn’t lose tracking.
To connect both elements, you don’t need any glue, just pliers to gently squeeze them together permanently.
