Modular X-Frame Bookshelf | Bookends Organizer

Organize your library with this Modular X-Frame Bookend System. Designed for total print efficiency, this system features a smart sliding connector that allows you to link multiple units together to fit any shelf size.

The geometric "X" lattice provides structural rigidity while keeping the print lightweight. The unique print orientation allows this entire model to be printed (almost) Support Free (only the connector receiver require a minimalistic support).

Although this is the max version for the P1S/X1C. Also note that for larger width, the height must be also larger to keep the right solidity to accept heavy books.

Included Versions

• Standard Module: Features connector mechanism to chain multiple units continuously.
• Right End Cap: A specialized finishing module for the right side of your assembly, providing a clean, flush look with no protruding connectors.

Printing Guidelines (Creator Tested)

• Material: PETG (or PLA + / PLA Tough) is required for the intended flexibility and durability.
• Orientation: Place the model flat on the face with the X pattern. This orientation ensures supports needs are very limited to the connector receiver.
• Supports: (almost) none. The design is optimized to have only minimal support when printed on the X-face.
• Walls (Perimeters): 2 Walls.
• Infill: 10% Gyroid (Provides sufficient strength while saving material).

Assembly

1. Print as many Standard Modules as required for your shelf width.
2. Print one Right End Cap to finish the row cleanly.
3. Align the sliding connectors and slide vertically to lock modules together.
