Description
I have been looking for a simple Cyberbrick remote that prints easily with simple parts. I wanted something a little larger for an adult grip and something with an industrial look. I was inspired by the classic design of the Pelican cases and I decided to create a remote that pays homage to that rugged style.Â
Â
This was created in Fusion 360 and designed with emphasis on high quality printing. It has NO difficult overhangs and requires NO support! The major flat surfaces print on the build plate for optimal surface finish. It could be printed without an AMS if you forgo the graphics. I printed my versions in PETG but it should do very well in PLA. (ABS may warp at this scale.) I printed the guards and the joystick tips in Bambu silver silk PLA for a metallic look.Â
Â
Please note the version in the photos has an upgrade to a mini toggle switch. This is optional and the remote will accept the standard Bambu power switch perfectly. I will add a link to the toggle. There is a small adapter plate included in the 3mf. This upgrade requires basic soldering skills.
Â
-A cover is included! A standard hinge and lid would be cumbersome in use, so I designed a magnetic latch system so the cover can be easily removed for use. The cover provides safe storage and stacking.
-The label is also magnetically attached making it easy to swap if you use the remote for a different device. Just print a label for each toy or device. Text can be added in the Bambu app!
-The battery cover is magnetically attached for easy and safe charging. (I should note that this is only designed for the lithium ion battery which is a better way to go.)
-The power switch is easily accessible on the front panel and the power indicator is highly visible. Â

Feedback is always welcome.
I hope you give it a try! Please consider boosting and liking!
