Magnetic Bag Chain – Over-Shoulder & Cross-Body Variants

This is a magnetic bag chain designed as a modular strap for bags made for thick or knitted fabrics. When the two magnetic ends snap together, they leave a 14 mm gap that comfortably accommodates thicker materials. More thickness options are possible — feel free to request a specific size.

The chain closes securely using integrated magnets.
In the print profile, there is a pause at layer 13 so you can insert the magnets before printing continues. You will need 10 × 2 mm magnets for assembly. 

The large rings don’t have slots, so gently slide the rings and the rod’s end pieces over the edge. You only need to do this once, and then everything is set.

Two print profiles are included:

• Over-Shoulder 1 – 30 links
  Ideal for a shorter, shoulder-length strap.
• Cross-Body 1 – 60 links
  Perfect for a longer chain that can be worn across the body.

Thanks to the modular design, you can easily add, remove, or replace links to adjust the length to your bag or personal style.
