Description
The Zkull Layered Sculpture is a skull sculpture conceived as a graphic landscape, built not as a solid volume but as a succession of vertical layers that draw the form in fragments.
Each slice becomes a line of drawing in space, and together they create a silhouette that is sharp, architectural, and hypnotic.
Depending on the version, the Zkull Layered Sculpture completely changes personality:
Somewhere between digital art, parametric design, and contemporary home decor, the Zkull Layered Sculpture is designed as a statement piece: a graphic totem that instantly catches the eye, whether displayed on a desk, a shelf, or showcased on its stand like a small gallery sculpture.
When removing the skull head from the build plate, lift it gently. The layered plates are well attached, but they remain delicate by nature.
During assembly, always support the layers with your hand positioned as flat as possible across the surface, perpendicular to the layers, to avoid bending or stressing the thin plates.
Once the connector pins are aligned and inserted, apply a small amount of strong glue to the main central rod. Bring the two halves together firmly but without excessive pressure to avoid damaging the layered structure.
The stand should be printed with a higher infill (as indicated in the included file settings) to ensure the sculpture sits securely and isn’t top-heavy.
If you notice slight misalignment between a few layers after assembling both halves, this may be caused by tiny leftover strands of filament under the base of the skull, which can interfere with the support cylinder and shift a plate. Simply clean any remaining filament carefully and realign.
