Also, make sure that the magnet's attractive poles (north, south) are in the correct order. The two on the big piece with the handle need to be facing the same direction, and the two on the piece that ‘flips’ need to face the same direction. However, the two pairs of two magnets need to be facing in opposite directions for it to work!

 

PLEASE make sure to get the magnets, it doesn't work otherwise, and make sure they are orientated correctly!
