A  printable adapter that lets you connect two standard DuPont cables f.e. to your 18650 battery pack charger in a single, reliable step.

Features

  • Dedicated 2‑pin housing: Matches the common female DuPont layout but with an internal shape optimized for battery‑pack connectors.
  • Secure snap‑in: Cables slide into place without soldering or additional hardware, minimizing wiring errors during charging setups.
  • Fixed orientation: Ensures correct polarity and alignment when connecting to a 18650 charger or power distribution board.
  • Compact design: Low‑profile construction fits easily on breadboards, panel mounts, or directly onto the battery pack connector.
  • Durable printing material: Designed for PETG or ABS; both offer good mechanical strength and resistance to repeated insertion.

Assembly & Usage

  1. Print the adapter (single part) in your chosen filament.
  2. Insert the two DuPont cables into the slots; they will seat firmly due to the custom geometry.
  3. Connect the free ends of the cables to your 18650 battery pack charger or power distribution board.
  4. The adapter can be reused by simply removing and re‑inserting the cables, maintaining a quick setup for repeated charging cycles.

Background / Motivation

During long‑term battery management projects I needed a fast, reliable way to connect my 18650 packs to chargers without soldering each time. This custom 2‑pin DuPont adapter was designed to streamline that workflow, ensuring consistent polarity and reducing the risk of misconnection during frequent charging sessions.
