Spacer for AMS cover

The AMS cover spacer provides a gap when using larger-diameter coils. After proper assembly and installation of the spacer in the AMS, the original design's feel and relative system tightness are maintained.

1. This spacer design is discreet and blends well with the overall design of the AMS system. 

2. The spacer ensures a uniform fit between the cover and the seal, similar to the original AMS design. 

3. The spacer fully replicates the fit of the cover and has a similar groove for accommodating the seal.

Some assembly instructions:

1. It is necessary to remove the seal from the AMS, it is glued on tape. Seal remove carefully, do not damage. Next, dismantle the cover - 4 screws are unscrewed with a long key from the bottom of the case. Also remove 2 rubber pads. All these parts will go to the new spacer.
2. After printing, the supports must be removed.
3. The frame consists of 8 parts. All parts are glued together. Для склейки PLA и PET-G я использую Dichloromethane (Methylene chloride). It has good strength and allows time for positioning the parts.
4.  After gluing, the frame needs to be dried. I suggest placing it in the AMS and pressing it from above. This will allow the frame to expand in its new location.
5. After drying, all the parts are assembled in reverse order.
6. To fix the spacers in the AMS, I use a 1 mm thick adhesive tape. I apply it in four locations.
