V3 Makita & Festool track compatible router base.

Description

This router base plate fits tracks from (Makita, Festool, Milwaukee, Evolution, Powertec and others). Designed to fit all Makita ¼ inch routers and uses the adjustable fence tightening knob provided by the manufacturer (or a M6 x 15mm thumbscrew) to adjust out the any slop for a tighter and more precise fit. Fits router template bushings to. Now including a dust collection port built in. This plate can also be used as a mini extended base for your router. now in 3 sizes (2.5in 3.0in and 75mm) “from the center of the router bit to the track".

The vacuum port is 34mm.

UPDATE 12/25/2025. A few changes to the design to improve airflow and dust collection on larger bits. rounded off some of the sharper corners. improved printability on the text.

 Router compatibility. Makita 40v,  Makita 18v,  Makita corded, Kreg 20v. 

Note. There are no threads designed in, I just used the knob to make threads, it worked ok for me.

 Print settings recommend.

Wall loops.   3

 Infill.     20%to 30% grid with a thicker.  or infill multiplier                        

 bottom layers.  5 to 8

Print orientation.    Flat on the build plate.                                             (bottom down)      

      Also recommend rotating 45⁰ if needed so that the support is oriented along the part.   (length wise)

Filament.  PETG-CF, PETG, PCTG, NYLON -CF. anything that's on the stiffer side.

Support.    Threshold angle 25º for best results.
