✨ The winter holidays are coming! On this occasion, I decided to develop a set of improvements for Christmas lights. These enhancements amplify the light and transform it into a string of shining stars ⭐, each with its own unique appearance 🌟.

 

I designed a set of 2 molds(star shape and spherical shape) with which we can create Christmas lights covers using the thermoforming process. This process allows the modeling of figures from 2D to 3D using a hair dryer and a mold. You can follow the detailed process below.

!!!Material recommandations

For this design, PLA was used for both the mold and the sheet. However, I strongly recommend using more temperature-resistant materials for the mold, such as PETG or ABS.

• Star mold

• Sphere mold

• Nuts

• Spherical shape with 3 patterns(gyroid, honeycomb, triangles)

• Star shape with 3 patterns(gyroid, honeycomb, triangles)

You can customize your own light covers by modifying these parameters in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer,etc.
