Bambu/Sunlu Spool Swatch Card Holder Clip
Never lose track of what filament is on your spool again! This is a compatible accessory designed to hold the cards from the popular Filament Swatch System. While the original system is great for display boards, this clip allows you to attach those same swatch cards directly to the spool while storing.
Compatibility
This clip is designed with a friction fit to securely attach to the rim of:
- Bambu Lab Reusable Spools
- Sunlu Plastic Spools (Newer version, Blue)
- May fit other spools with similar rim thickness, but tested primarily on the above.
Features
- Seamless Integration: Uses the standard swatch cards from the Filament Swatch System.
- Dual Function: Stays secure on the spool while also holding the loose end of your filament in place.
- Quick Identification: Great for shelving storage to see color/type at a glance.
Usage
- Attaching to Spool: Start by hooking the side with the 2 prongs onto the rim first, then slip the other side over the spool edge.
- Inserting the Card: Slip the filament card into the top (2-pronged side) first, then snap it down into the bottom clip.
- Troubleshooting: The fit is designed to be snug. If the card does not snap in, please check to ensure all support material is fully removed from the slots.
Print Settings
- Material: PETG or PLA
- Layer Height: 0.2mm recommended.
- Infill: 15% - 20% (Strength is not critical, but rigidity helps).
- Supports: Yes, but very little is necessary. There is no need for special support filament.
- Tip: If you use my upload print profile, supports are already pre-configured for you.
