Description
This is my fully print in place upright button fidget. As I learned about making 3D printed springs from youtube, I was told to never print standard upright coil springs. But then I saw another fidget that was a print in place button. I went in to the slicer and found out that they just used a standard coil spring. This surprised me and I was inspired to make this fidget toy. It uses carefully calculated clearances and a mix of printable angles to achieve full print in place functionality. Cutouts were placed on the sides of the button so you can see the interesting spring inside, as well as saving some of your precious filament. (if you see some weird stuff on the underside of your spring, don't worry, it shouldn't effect it's functionality). Taking only 10.95 grams of filament and less than 44 minutes to print, this is the perfect button toy for anyone who likes to fidget.
