Description
My work desk is always a mess, as shown in the image below.
I decided to design a pegboard desk stand to help me to put stuff in order. Then I made this! The Pegboard size is 320mm x 240mm x 5mm, so it can only be printed in H2 series printers, but there are many different sizes of pegboard on MakerWorld for you to choose.
It uses the same hole position as IKEA's pegboard, so you can customize it easily with the marketed products.
I use Maker Supply's “M5x12 FHCS Machine Screw(5PCS) -AA001” as the screws(You can use any other M5 scerws as well. If you want to connect 2 pegboards, you need 8 pcs of screws. Remember to buy 2 AA001), which can help fix the pegboard and the standbar firmly. I pre-set M5 threads on the model so that you can screw the screws inside easily. (I have another way to design an M2.5 hole in the 3D printing models. See my post: How to design a screw hole for a CyberBrick Project? )
Because the holes on the pegboard are arranged in a staggered manner, I designed 2 types of hooks on the back of the part that need more than 2 horizontal holes—Part A&B, so you can arrange the parts in order, as shown in the image below.
You can see how I arrange my tools on the pegboard as a reference. Pars list is on the bottom of the page.
You can use the “Connection” parts to connect 2 pegboards. Recommended to print it with PLA-CF or PETG-CF, other filaments might also be suitable. Have a try!
Have fun!
